Same here. PS3 randomly shuts off while playing BO2. Any other game works fine. Worst support ever. Customer Service is never available.Extremely frustrating.

You could not be more wrong in your post. If you read up on this issue it is affecting the newer PS3 slim systems all they way back to the early systems.
